Most Photo Walks work best with groups of 2 to 15 people. For larger groups (corporate outings, family reunions, bachelorette weekends with 16+), we can add a second photographer so everyone gets individual attention. Let us know your group size when you reach out and we'll recommend the right setup.

Nashville is beautiful in the rain, and some of our best photos have been captured during overcast or rainy conditions. We'll adapt the route to use covered areas, parking garages with views, and indoor spots like Printers Alley. If conditions are severe, we'll work with you to reschedule.

Bring whatever you shoot with. DSLR, mirrorless, point-and-shoot, or your phone. Our lessons are tailored to your gear and your skill level. If you're using a phone, we'll teach you the settings and techniques that make the biggest difference on mobile.

You can book through either JHR or Nashville Adventures. If you book a tour through Nashville Adventures, you can add JHR photography as an add-on. If you book a Photo Walk directly through JHR, we'll recommend a Nashville Adventures tour that pairs with your photography experience. Either way, we coordinate everything so your group has one smooth experience.

Golden hour (the hour before sunset) produces the most stunning light, especially for mural walks and outdoor portraits. For Broadway and honky tonk tours, early evening when the neon is lit but the crowds haven't peaked is ideal. Morning walks are great for street photography lessons when the light is soft and the streets are quieter. We'll recommend the best timing for your specific experience.

Absolutely. Many corporate clients add a Photo Walk to their Corporate Event Coverage or Convention Media package. It works well as a team-building activity, a pre-event icebreaker, or a VIP experience. We'll coordinate everything through a single point of contact.

Starting points depend on the route. Most walks begin at a central downtown location that's easy to find and close to parking. We'll share the exact meeting point when you book. Walks typically end within a few blocks of where they started so your group can easily continue their Nashville plans.
