February 25th, 2017 ~ Nashville TN
When it comes to photography, understanding your camera's settings is essential - regardless of whether you're a beginner or an experienced professional. Not only will this enable you to take full creative control over your images, but it'll also open up a world of possibilities! In this guide, we will explore the key camera settings that are necessary for taking your photography to the next level.
From shutter speed and white balance to ISO and aperture, these adjustments can drastically alter the look and feel of an image - so it's important to have a good grasp on them. With practice and patience, however, you'll soon find yourself nailing each shot every time.
The theme of the day was a fashion shoot for a stranded traveler. We weren’t sure we would have access to a fabled 1960’s Beachcraft twin-engine airplane, but we were willing to make do. As luck would have it, a gracious young man allowed us access to a hanger, THE Hanger! The main doors were floor to ceiling frosted glass, giving us an amazing light to play with all around the Beachcraft. Sheridan was definitely an adventurer and played up the shoot perfectly. Thanks to another friend, Toni – I had an onsite makeup artist and stylist keeping everything looking polished. With this shoot in the books, I’l already looking at locations to work with Sheridan again. Hopefully, it will be just a bit warmer the next time, February is COLD!
